Veterans may face a range of psychological challenges as a result of their service, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment issues, chronic anxiety, depression and difficulties reintegrating into civilian life.

Our psychiatrists are experienced in working with DVA clients and understand the complexities of service-related mental health conditions. We provide initial psychiatric assessments, diagnostic clarification, treatment plans, and ongoing reviews tailored to the needs of veterans and ex-service personnel.

We work closely with other health professionals, case managers and support networks to ensure integrated care. All consultations are provided in a supportive, judgement-free environment, and DVA-covered services are billed directly with no out-of-pocket fees.

Meta Psychiatry is proud to offer Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) as part of our treatment options. rTMS is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, offering relief for individuals experiencing major depressive disorders. This therapy is particularly beneficial for patients who have not responded to traditional treatments.

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) is an effective treatment for major depressive disorders.It involves the focal application of a localised, pulsed magnetic field to the brain inducing small electrical currents which stimulate nerve cells.
