Dr. Prashwas Thapa
Dr Thapa completed his initial training in psychiatry at a premier institute in India and completed MD (Psych). He then worked as consultant psychiatrist in Nepal for several years before moving to Australia. He completed further Fellowship Training with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrist and was awarded Fellowship (FRANZCP). He is also a Staff Specialist with Old Health. Dr Thapa's areas of interest include anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar , Adult ADHD and OCD.
He is a compassionate and empathic psychiatrist who is able to work with patients to assist them on their recovery journey.

We offer comprehensive psychiatric assessments and management plans for conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, psychosis and personality disorders. Our psychiatrists work closely with GPs, psychologists and allied health providers to develop effective, personalised care plans.
