Dr Thomas Cheung

Dr Thomas Cheung is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with Advanced Training in Forensic Psychiatry. He brings a wealth of experience to his clinical work, having held senior leadership roles including Clinical Director and Chief Training Supervisor for psychiatry trainees within the public health system.
Dr Cheung has a particular interest in general adult psychiatry, psychotic disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and the interface between psychiatry and the law, including the preparation of medico-legal reports.
He is known for his patient-centred and pragmatic approach, combining clinical expertise with empathy and a strong focus on achieving meaningful outcomes for his patients. Dr Cheung is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.
